| Air Brush Tanning |
How do I prepare for a Airbrush Tanning session? For the maximum result, before your session shower and exfoliate the skin. Make sure your skin is free of perfumes, lotions, oils, deodorants, gels or any product on the skin that would create a barrier. Also, remove all jewelry (and don’t put it back on until afew hours after your tan)! What is the advantage of Airbrush Tanning over UV tanning? Airbrush tanning is an alternative form of tanning. People with sensitive skin or people who have a hard time tanning, naturally or in tanning beds will find this form of tanning very comforting. One application with airbrush tanning will be equivalent to approximately 6 tanning bed sessions, there for making it cost effective and better on your skin. What is the difference between being airbrushed and using cream or lotion sunless tanners at home? Imagine the difference between being airbrushed and using cream or lotion sunless tanners at home? Imagine the difference between finget painting your car and using an airbrush to paint it. Even with the greatest of care, and help from a friend to get all the places you cannot reach, you can’t duplicate the even consistency and naturaly look of an airbrushed tan. Is it blotchy or uneven? Does it look fake? No, one coat is applied and if there are any marks or imperfections of any kind, they are immediately fixed. The client will be asked to look at themselves to make sure that the tan is exactly what they wanted. A second coat can be applied to darken color or fix any uneven areas. It is a natural, golden, even colored tan every time. What do I wear? This is the decision of the client. Most clients wear an old bathing suit or undergarments. Bra(strapless, backless or a regular bra-straps can always be tucked in) Underwear ( briefs, boxers, bikini or a thong) Even thought the solution will be sprayed on clothes, it does not stain. It comes out once laundered. Some clients, in effort to avoid lines, prefer to go topless. How long does it take? The entire process from start to finish is about 20 minutes (10 minutes to be airbrushed and 10 minutes to dry) Who applies it? One of our female airbrush technicians. Who has been thoroughly trained on technique, professionalism and safety. |
