| Swedish Massage is a system of long strokes, kneading and friction on the superficial layers of muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints. Used to warm tissue & promote general relaxation. Feel free to state your preference for pressure during your Swedish massage treatment. It can range from light to firm depending on the clients personal massage preference and level of tension. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots. This is a full body revitalizing massage. It is intended to dissolve adhesions that affect mobility, muscle and tendon stiffness and pain, within specific regions of your body. This massage improves muscle tone, flexibility, and circulation, and relieves chronic stress and soreness. For best massage results, clients should be prepared for a higher than normal intensity/pressure massage level than normally expected in a relaxation type massage. 30 minutes $50 60 minutes $90 90 minutes $135 Hot Stone Massage is a style of massage therapy in which warm water-treated stones are placed at specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation. Muscles are pretreated with the heated stones to allow the therapist to more easily perform tissue manipulations. This luxurious massage treatment utilizes these warm stones which are gently applied during a full-body massage, creating a relaxing ritual. The hot stone massage will give you deep relaxation, increased immune function, and will detoxify as you emerge refreshed and revitalized, free from stress. For best massage results, share with your massage therapists which areas of your body carry the most tension. 60 minutes $95 90 minutes $135 |
